NY Epic Update

With the state being broke, NY Epic program, the prescription supplement for senior citizens, is going through massive cutbacks.

Starting January 1, 2012, Epic will only help once you reach the donut hole.

This is important!  When choosing your Medicare D plan for 2012, you must take this into consideration!

Epic will no longer reduce your copays down to a maximum of $20.  Your copay from Medicare will not be reduced. Some patients have a co-insurance, where they pay a percentage of brand name costs, which can be upwards of 100′s of dollars…
